Features:
1. High efficiency, low maintenance costs.
2. K1 bio filter media are placed in a tank or tanks in volume to match the treatment requirement.
3. Compressed air is delivered to a header system near the bottom of the tank.
4. Biofilm grows on those bio filter media, which then move throughout the tank.
5. As air passes through the water and past the media, the wastes in the water act as food for the biofilm.
6. The bio filter media is self-cleaning.
7. A retention screen is placed at the outlet of the reactor to keep the biofilm elements that have just consumed the toxins in the tanks.
8. Cleaned water is discharged.
